There are two motors inside, which are responsible for the rotation of the pan tilt in all directions, including up and down and left and right. The different working voltages also determine the overall working voltage of the gimbal, which generally includes AC 24V, AC 220V, and DC 24V. When connected to the up and down action voltages, the vertical motor rotates and drives the vertical transmission wheel disc to rotate through the gearbox; When receiving the left and right action voltages, the horizontal motor rotates and drives the horizontal gear plate at the bottom of the pan tilt platform to rotate through the gearbox.
It should be noted that the gimbal has horizontal and vertical limit bolts, and the gimbal is limited by two micro switches. When the rotation angle reaches the pre-set limit bolt, the micro switch will cut off the power and the pan tilt stop rotating. The limit device can be located outside the gimbal, with a simple adjustment process, or it can be located inside the gimbal and adjusted through an external adjustment mechanism, with a relatively complex adjustment process. But the sealing performance of the external limit device's gimbal is not as good as that of the built-in limit device's gimbal.
The outdoor gimbal is generally the same as the indoor gimbal, but due to the weight of the outdoor protective cover, the load-bearing capacity of the gimbal must be increased. At the same time, the outdoor environment undergoes significant changes in temperature and is susceptible to erosion from rain or moisture. Therefore, outdoor gimbals are generally designed to be sealed and rainproof. In addition, the outdoor gimbal also has high torque and choke protection circuits to prevent the gimbal from forcibly starting and burning out the motor when it freezes. In harsh low-temperature conditions, a temperature controlled heater can also be installed inside the gimbal.

Electric sparks and arcs can ignite hazardous mixtures. Gap explosion-proof structure is a reliable method to prevent the ignition of hazardous mixtures around by electric arcs and other factors. It has a sufficiently sturdy shell that can withstand the pressure generated by the internal hazardous gas mixture, ensuring no deformation or damage, and has a certain structural gap to allow the sprayed combustion products to cool through a certain flange length to below the self ignition temperature of the external hazardous mixture. The structural gap can be composed of planar or cylindrical joint surfaces, as well as curved, threaded, or barrier structures.
