It is widely used inIR & THzIn the research of radiation sources and detectors.

Product principle:

Golay cellIt is a type of optical energy detector, which operates on the principle of photoacoustic conversion. Terahertz radiation is irradiated onto the crystal of the probe, generating corresponding phonon vibrations. The vibrations then generate thermal energy, which is converted into electrical signals by a thermoelectric converter. The device consists of a probe (shown in black) and a power supply (shown in silver).

By receiving terahertz radiation through a probe and converting it into a thermoelectric signal, the pulse energy can be sensitively detected, and the signal can be obtained byBNCOutput the interface to the oscilloscope for reading.
