2、 Infrared detection principle

CO2、 SO2Equipolar molecules have an electric dipole moment, thus possessing structures such as vibration and rotation. Divided into split energy levels according to quantum mechanics, gas molecules can couple with incident characteristic wavelength infrared light to produce absorption. In the infrared light band, gas molecules have selective absorption spectra. When specific wavelength infrared light passes through CO2Or SO2After gas, it can produce strong light absorption.

Since the detector converts optical signals into electrical signals, when the detector operates in a linear region, selects a specific wavelength and determines the length of the analysis cell (absorption cell), the concentration of the measured gas in the mixed gas can be calculated by measuring the light intensity. This is the basic principle of infrared absorption method for quantitatively measuring gas concentration. The selected measurement wavelength for this instrument is CO24.26um, SO2It is 7.4um.

The analysis room includes miniature infrared light sources, mirrors, modulation motors, absorption cells, filters, and detectors. The miniature infrared light source is heated to 800 ℃ by electricity to produce infrared light, which is absorbed by CO through an absorption cell2、 SO2After absorption, it passes through a narrowband filter to remove the energy of other light radiation outside the above-mentioned wavelength. When it is incident on the detector, the detector detects CO2、 SO2The light intensity corresponding to the concentration is converted into an electrical signal by a detector, and then normalized and calibrated by a microcomputer. The integrated inversion is used to obtain the percentage content of carbon and sulfur elements. A modulation motor is placed between the light source and the absorption cell to modulate the light signal into a 64Hz alternating radiation signal. The center frequency of the detector output is 64Hz.

The thermoelectric device is converted into an electrical signal, which is then amplified in the preamplifier and post amplifier before entering the microcomputer through digital to analog conversion. In the microcomputer, it is converted into CO through linearization operation2、 SO2A numerical value proportional to the content.
