Laser Projection Color Performance Analyzer - Laser Display Optical Testing System - LCOS Laser Projection Analysis System - SS445 is a product specially designed by Microvision for large screen projection display measurement, suitable for all projection technologies such as DLP, LCD, LCOS, cinema screens, as well as rear screen projectors, simulators, etc. The SS445 adopts a computer-controlled Pan&Tilt positioning system to move to the desired testing point. It is equipped with a 1.4 million pixel CCD camera with autofocus function, which can measure MTF, brightness, uniformity, gamma, etc. The configured spectral radiometer can be used for measuring brightness and chromaticity. When measuring, it is usually placed on a tripod or a table in front of a projection screen, and measured from the observer's perspective to better represent the user experience.

Working Principle:
Microvision SS445 is a display measurement system specifically designed for large screen displays. This includes projection displays that use any existing projection engine technology, up to the size of a theater. The system uses electric translation and tilt mechanisms to move to the desired testing position. The system can be equipped with a 1.4MP CCD camera and/or a diffraction grating spectrometer. During operation, the system is located in front of the monitor under test. The graphic generator or Microvision's MVRemote is used to automatically display test graphics, or if needed, the customer's system can generate images. SS445 aims to measure the display from the observer's perspective, in order to better represent the actual performance of the display as seen. It is possible to quickly measure the positions of several observers, thus fully defining the display. With the operator entering the desired testing location (X&Y or pixel coordinates), the testing can be fully automated, and the system will automatically locate and run the selected tests at these locations.
