Working Principle:

When measuring varistors, the lightning protection component tester uses a DC/DC converter driven by a certain high-frequency pulse to convert a 12V DC voltage into the required DC high voltage for testing varistors. When testing the discharge tube, the slope control circuit controls the DC/DC converter to increase the output voltage value at a rate of 100V per second within the range of 20-1700V until the discharge tube is discharged.
