The Portrait Displays Client 3 client license serves as a pattern generator and ICC profile manager, allowing for computer monitor calibration through the Calman software. Client 3 provides services to Calman users who need to calibrate their computer monitors but have exceeded the number of Client 3 licenses included in their Calman purchase. Please note that each computer you want to calibrate requires a unique Client 3 license to be installed, but the number of monitors connected to each computer may be unlimited. Calibrating the computer monitor ensures color accuracy in graphic art and video playback. Your Calman software will communicate with Client 3 via IP to manage computer calibration configuration files during and after the calibration process. Client 3 can also be used as a pattern generator for Windows environments. To use Client 3, the software needs to be installed on the computer to be calibrated, which may be a computer running Calman or a separate device. All professional versions of Calman (Ultimate, Video Pro, Studio) include at least one Client 3 license. This product is intended to be used as a supplementary license and must be applied to the existing professional version of Calman. The Calman Home product does not include a Client 3 license.
