Suitable for measuring DC parameters of overvoltage protection components such as zinc oxide lightning arresters (varistors), metal ceramic two - and three electrode discharge tubes, and vacuum surge tubes. It can also be used as a voltage regulator, constant current power supply, and applied in other fields.
1. Working principle:
When measuring varistors, the DC/DC converter drives a certain high-frequency pulse to increase the 12v DC voltage to the required DC high voltage for testing varistors. When testing the discharge tube, the slope control circuit controls the DC/DC converter to increase the output voltage value at a rate of 100V per second within the range of 20-1700V until the discharge tube is discharged.

It has functions such as high voltage short circuit protection, overcurrent protection, high voltage preset, and range adjustment.
● It has self checking and discrimination function, and can emit sound prompts for over range testing during the measurement process.
● It has functions of memory, computation, retention, control, and continuous testing.
The test results are displayed by a 3 1/2 digit LCD digital display, which can automatically display accurate and reliable required data.
