The water gas separation device (DGE) can measure the concentration of dissolved gases in water or other liquids in real-time and continuously. It extracts gas from liquid through a built-in hydrophobic microporous membrane (composed of polypropylene hollow fibers), and the built-in water pump, air pump, and mass flow controller control the flow rate and pressure of the liquid in DGE and the gas delivered to the gas analyzer. By controlling the flow velocity of water through a diaphragm, the pressure of gas acts on the outside of the diaphragm, and the pressure of water acts on the inside of the diaphragm. DGE can obtain accurate and reproducible data.
By measuring the concentration of gas entering and leaving DGEU, the gas phase concentration (ppm) can be easily converted into dissolved gas concentration (nanomolar).
Users can operate DGE through the software of the selected LGR analyzer to perform automatic measurements. It has a built-in multi-channel data collector, which can not only record all parameters in DGE reports, but also save analog signal data from other instruments.
DGEApplication:
When used in conjunction with one or more LGR trace gas analyzers, DGE can replace time-consuming headspace balancing processes and complex showerhead systems. This provides new research opportunities, including measuring gas leaks on the seabed; Monitoring of water quality in oceans, lakes, rivers, and fish farms; Quantify the gas exchange process on the surface of lakes; Monitor the concentration of dissolved gases in sewage treatment plants.
