The third generation wearable eye tracking solution of Tobii Pro Glasses 3 can introduce eye tracking into a wide range of research scenarios. Tobii Pro Glasses3 provides stable tracking capability and high-precision eye tracking data, while also offering users maximum freedom of movement, ensuring the acquisition of behavior data in a natural state. The combination of Glasses3 eye tracker and ErgoLAB synchronization platform, a full range of analysis software and services, provides comprehensive solutions for various behavioral research in real environments.
2、 System features
The third generation wearable eye tracker of Tobii Pro Glasses3 is optimized for real data collection in natural conditions. We hope to create a fully functional wearable eye tracker that is suitable for any real-world research environment without sacrificing data quality and reliability.
The new features include:
●Embedding 16 infrared light sources and 4 eye tracking sensors into scratch resistant lenses to support optimal position adjustment and provide the wearer with a completely unobstructed field of view
●Adopting ultra wide angle scene camera (106 ° H: 95 °, V: 62 °)
●Additional colored or transparent infrared shielding safety lenses (MIL-PRF-32432A: 4.8.4 ballistic fragmentation protection, Class 1 SS-EN166, optical Class 1, Class F)

*Directional eye tracking
Tobii Pro Glasses3 provides eye tracking data from various angles. The embedded design of the light source and eye tracking sensor lens enables the wearer's field of view to be unobstructed, while the ultra wide angle scene camera ensures a large range of eye tracking data collection. This means that the wearer can see more things and the system can capture more behaviors, which will bring substantial improvements to studies that require subjects to frequently observe up and down or cover most areas within the wearer's field of view.
Data Quality and Reliability
Integrating Tobii's core eye tracking technology into the lens enables the eye tracking sensor and light source to achieve optimal positioning. The combination of Tobii's patented 3D eye model and the binocular motion tracking sensor equipped on each eye can provide highly accurate eye tracking data while minimizing data loss, while also providing stable pupil size data. Slip compensation and continuous calibration techniques ensure that even if the wearer's glasses are displaced or repeatedly removed during tracking, it will not affect the stability of tracking and the consistency of eye tracking data.
The built-in accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer sensors can distinguish head and eye movements, minimizing the impact of head movements on eye tracking data.

Data collection and analysis software
Using the Glasses3 Controller application, you can easily control your research process and view eye tracking data in real-time wirelessly on your Android or Windows tablet, and then export the data to the ErgoLAB platform software for analysis. The auxiliary data overlay tool can automatically and intelligently overlay eye tracking data from eye tracking videos onto static images, enabling you to efficiently obtain quantitative visualization results or extract eye tracking statistical indicators. ErgoLAB data synchronization scheme
By combining eye tracking data with other physiological measurement methods through the ErgoLAB multimodal data synchronization platform, we aim to investigate physiological responses triggered by visual stimuli and examine the relationship between physiological responses and eye movement behavior.
