XT-108B portable COD analyzer uses a closed digestion tube for closed digestion. In a strong acidic solution, a special oxidant containing a certain amount of potassium dichromate is used to digest the water sample at a constant temperature of 165 ℃ under the action of a catalyst, so that the reducing substances in the water are oxidized. The total absorbance of unreduced Cr6+and reduced Cr3+is measured at different wavelengths, or the absorbance of reduced Cr3+is measured.
