A yarn length measuring machine (also known as a yarn length measuring instrument) is a specialized testing instrument used to determine the linear density (fineness) of yarns, fiber filaments, and other materials. It can also prepare samples for yarn strength testing. Its core function is to wind yarn of a set length, calculate the linear density index of the yarn (such as Tex, Denier, etc.) by weighing, and meet the requirements of domestic and foreign standards for yarn quality inspection.

1、 Working principle
Mechanical structure:
Yarn frame: Hexagonal diamond shaped structure, winding yarn by rotation.
Tension system: including tensioners and tension adjusters, ensuring yarn winding uniformity by adjusting yarn tension.
Horizontal yarn arranging device: arranges the yarn in an orderly manner on the yarn frame, avoiding overlap or gaps.
Yarn guide: guides the path of yarn from the sample tube to the yarn frame.
Transmission system: driven by a motor to rotate the yarn frame, supporting stepless speed regulation.
Operation process:
Set the number of yarn loops and tension value.
Start the instrument, rotate the yarn frame and automatically count. After reaching the set number of turns, slowly start and stop to avoid punching.
After winding the yarn, weigh it and calculate the line density based on the number of turns and the length of the turns.
