The 9th China Eurasia Expo's investment and exhibition promotion work is in full swing

The China Eurasia Expo, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is a national and international comprehensive exhibition aimed at the Asia Europe region. It has become an important platform for high-level diplomacy between China and Asia Europe countries, an important channel for promoting cooperation between China and neighboring countries, an important platform for building the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt, and an important window for showcasing the image of Xinjiang.

Since 2011, the Asia Europe Expo has been deeply rooted in Central Asia and radiated to Asia and Europe. It has been successfully held for eight sessions, with the exhibition scale expanding from 80000 square meters in the first session to 140000 square meters. Over 120 countries and regions, more than 70 Chinese and foreign leaders and international organization leaders, more than 1000 Chinese and foreign ministerial level guests, more than 15000 domestic and foreign enterprises, and 140000 merchants have participated in the exhibition, with nearly 2 million visitors on site.

The 9th Asia Europe Expo will be held in Urumqi, Xinjiang from June 25th to 29th, 2026. The theme of this expo will be "New Opportunities for the Silk Road, New Vitality for Asia and Europe", based on the "Five Strategic Positions" given to Xinjiang by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. It will deeply serve the overall diplomacy of the country, assist in the construction of a strong trading nation, and strive to create an important open platform for win-win cooperation in the Asia Europe region. At present, the investment and exhibition promotion work of the Expo is in full swing.

The planned exhibition area for this year's Asia Europe Expo is 140000 square meters, with six major exhibition themes including investment cooperation, Silk Road cooperation, new quality productivity, characteristic advantageous industries, green development, and cultural tourism integration.

1. Investment cooperation:

Exhibition areas of various provinces, regions, and cities: including guest provinces and cities, advantageous industries, investment projects, and development opportunities in various provinces, regions, and cities, as well as Hong Kong and Macao.

Xinjiang exhibition area: including Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, advantageous industries, investment projects, and development opportunities in various prefectures and cities in Xinjiang.

2. Silk Road cooperation:

● National exhibition area: including advantageous industries and development opportunities for investment and cooperation of guest of honor countries, Central Asian countries, and countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road".

Advanced Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition Area: including high-end equipment manufacturing new products, new technologies, and overall solutions for intelligent manufacturing in advanced manufacturing.

The exhibition area for digital economy, low altitude economy, and biomanufacturing includes new technologies, products, and application scenarios such as digital economy, low altitude economy, and biomanufacturing.
