In traditional three-point bending, the specimen is supported on two outer points and deformed by driving down the third center point. We already have reverse technology for the application of scanning electron microscopy.
The sample is located at the central fixed point, with two external points driven downwards. There are two benefits to this: the high strain area of interest is located at the top, making it easy to observe and maintaining focus because the height remains unchanged.
The maximum load of the standard device is300N, displacement rate from0.05mm/minarrive5mm/minThe high load version can also be used for2KNThe following loads. The standard sample width is40Millimeters. The top and bottom jaws (points) can easily change different sample configurations, such as allowing indentation studies or four point bending.
This module is only designed for vertical three-point bending. For horizontal three-point bending, we recommend using a stretching table with optional three-point or four point bending fixtures.
