1. Product Overview

With the development of industry, many electrical and factory equipment are powered by DC systems, and the positive and negative poles of the DC system are not grounded. For ungrounded (IT) distribution systems, insulation resistance monitoring should be carried out to ensure the safe operation of the power supply system.

The AIM-D100-CA series DC insulation monitoring instrument can be applied in DC systems ranging from 100 to 1000V for online monitoring of the positive and negative pole to ground insulation resistance of ungrounded DC systems. When the insulation resistance is lower than the set value, it will issue a warning or alarm signal.

The product is mainly designed for insulation monitoring of electric vehicle charging devices in the DC 100~1000V range, and can also be applied to DC systems such as energy storage DC, DC screens in substations, UPS power supply systems, photovoltaic DC systems, and other DC power grids.

2. Functional Features

Resistance monitoring function. The product can monitor the insulation resistance of the positive and negative poles of the DC system to ground. When the insulation resistance is lower than the set warning and alarm values, it can issue warning and alarm signals.

Voltage monitoring function. The product can monitor the voltage between the positive and negative poles of the DC system, as well as the voltage between the positive and negative poles to ground, with a measurement range of 100-1000V.

■ Current monitoring function. The product can monitor DC system current, only the AIM-D100-CAI model has this function.

■ LED indicator function. The product panel has operation, communication, and fault LED indicator lights, which can display the product status.

■ Communication networking function. The product has one RS485 interface and adopts Modbus RTU protocol for data exchange.

■ Metal casing. The product adopts a metal shell, wall mounted installation, and can also be installed using accessory rails.

■ Plug and unplug terminals. The product adopts plug-in terminal wiring, which is convenient for wiring and installation.
