1. Product Overview

With the development of industry, many electrical and factory equipment are powered by DC systems, and the positive and negative poles of the DC system are not grounded. For ungrounded (IT) distribution systems, insulation resistance monitoring should be carried out to ensure the safe operation of the power supply system.

The AIM-D100-T series DC insulation monitoring instrument can be applied in DC systems ranging from 10 to 1000V for online monitoring of the positive and negative pole to ground insulation resistance of ungrounded DC systems. When the insulation resistance is lower than the set value, it will issue a warning or alarm signal.

The product is based on the principle of unbalanced bridge, which avoids the problem of inability to detect insulation resistance when the balanced bridge has grounding faults in both positive and negative poles.

The product can be applied to DC systems such as power generation manufacturers, DC screens in substations, electric vehicle charging devices, UPS power supply systems, photovoltaic DC systems, energy storage systems, and other DC power grids.

2. Functional Features

Resistance monitoring function. The product can monitor the insulation resistance of the positive and negative poles of the DC system to ground. When the insulation resistance is lower than the set warning and alarm values, it can issue warning and alarm signals.

Voltage monitoring function. The product can monitor the voltage between the positive and negative poles of the DC system, as well as the voltage between the positive and negative poles and ground.

Overvoltage and undervoltage alarm function. The product can monitor the voltage fluctuation of the DC system and issue an alarm signal in a timely manner when overvoltage or undervoltage occurs.

■ Warning and alarm function. The product has 2 sets of independently adjustable settings, which can set warning and alarm values.

■ LED indicator function. The product panel has LED indicators for operation, communication, fault, overvoltage, and undervoltage, which can display the product status.

LCD display function. The product adopts a 128 * 32 dot matrix LCD display, which can display parameter information.

■ Relay output function. The product has 3 relay outputs and can choose between normally open or normally closed modes.

Event recording function. The product can record the time of alarm occurrence and the type of fault, making it convenient for staff to troubleshoot.

■ Communication networking function. The product has one RS485 interface and adopts Modbus RTU protocol for data exchange.

■ Rail installation. The product is installed using standard 35mm guide rails.

■ Plug and unplug terminals. The product adopts plug-in terminal wiring, which is convenient for wiring and installation.
