When selecting a current limiting protector, the rated current set for the current limiting protector should be consistent with the rated current of the previous circuit breaker. For example, when the rated current of the input circuit breaker of the current limiting protector is 32A, the rated current of the current limiting protector should be set to 32A. To ensure the normal use of the current limiting protector, it is strictly prohibited to use it in distribution lines that do not match the rated current of its front-end circuit breaker.
The ASCP200 series adopts a current limiting protector with wall mounted installation, which can be installed on the wall or inside the box. To ensure reliable connection, wiring should be carried out according to the wiring diagram. At the same time, in order to prevent local overheating caused by excessive contact resistance at the joint and to avoid abnormal operation of the protector due to contact, the wire head should be crimped with a suitable size U-shaped cold press head, and then inserted into the corresponding terminal of the protector and the screw should be tightened and compacted.
The protector contains alternating current inside, and unauthorized opening of the product casing is strictly prohibited. During the use of the protector, if the protected circuit experiences a short circuit or overload fault and is subjected to current limiting protection, the protector is still in a live state and is not allowed to touch the metal parts of the electrical circuit at will. After checking the circuit and troubleshooting, press and hold the reset button of the protector for about 2 seconds to restore normal operation of the protector.
When the protector experiences current limiting protection due to overheating, it may be caused by excessive load current, high ambient temperature, or ventilation and heat dissipation. Measures such as strengthening ventilation can be taken. After the protector temperature drops, press and hold the reset button to reset the protector and restore normal operation.

With the rapid development of the social economy and the continuous improvement of the degree of electrification, electrical fires are becoming increasingly frequent due to factors such as excessive electricity load and short circuits in power lines, leading to an upward trend in the number of fires.
According to the 5-year statistical analysis of the fire department, the number of residential fire accidents in places where electrical fires occur is high (51%), and short circuits and aging of power lines are the main causes of accidents.
Through the analysis of the causes of 5-year electrical fire incidents, it was found that the main reasons for the accidents were wire short circuits, overload electricity consumption, poor contact, and other factors. Among them, wire short circuits account for a large proportion (48%).
