Overview
The intelligent BA50 series current sensor applies the principle of electromagnetic induction to measure the AC current in the power grid in real time. It uses constant current and linear compensation technology to isolate and transform it into a standard DC signal output, and transmits the measurement data. The main purpose is to detect the leakage current of the electrical system, which can keep track of the situation of electrical circuits and equipment at any time, and prevent accidents such as fires caused by leakage.

2. Communication Protocol

Intelligent BA50 series current sensorThe communication protocol used defines in detail the data sequence definition of address codes, function codes, and checksum, which are all necessary contents for specific data exchange. This protocol uses a master-slave responsive connection (half duplex) on a single communication line, which means that signals are transmitted in opposite directions on a separate communication line. Firstly, the signal from the host computer is addressed to a terminal device (slave), and then the response signal sent by the terminal device is transmitted to the host in the opposite direction. This agreement only allows on the host(PCPLCCommunication between terminal devices is not allowed, and data exchange between independent terminal devices is not allowed. This way, each terminal device will not occupy the communication line during their initialization, but only respond to query signals that arrive locally.

3. Transmission method

The information transmission is asynchronous and in byte units. The communication information transmitted between the host and slave is in 11 bit word format, including 1 start bit, 8 data bits (the least significant bit is sent first), parity bits (no parity), and 2 stop bits.
