The classification of lipoproteins in the lipoproteins electrophoresis system belongs to the standard PAGE (polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis), which is used to analyze the particle size of high-density lipoproteins and low-density lipoproteins. The system can only be used with CBS's preformed gel (non denatured pore gradient polyacrylamide gel).
