Vacuum heat treatment of alloy steel

D9-4412-210 uses chromium silicon alloy steel as the substrate and undergoes three tempering treatments through a vacuum exhaust furnace.

A vacuum environment can prevent steel from oxidizing at high temperatures, while precisely controlling the distribution of carbides, resulting in a surface hardness of HRC 48-52 for the spring and a core hardness of HRC 42-45.

This gradient hardness structure not only ensures the fatigue resistance of the spring, but also enhances its wear resistance.

SinterLube coating technology

For applications in high humidity environments, Danly has developed SinterLube sintered bronze coating for D9-4412-210.

This coating uses powder metallurgy technology to sinter copper particles onto the surface of the spring, forming a porous structure that can store lubricating oil and release it to the contact surface.

In the hydraulic system of offshore platforms, the friction coefficient of coated springs is reduced by 40% compared to ordinary springs, effectively preventing elastic attenuation caused by salt spray corrosion.

Pre stress calibration process

During the production process, D9-4412-210 needs to undergo pre stressing treatment to compress to the solid height.

This process applies pressure exceeding 150% of the rated load through a hydraulic press to rearrange the molecular structure of the spring and eliminate internal stress concentration points.
