The stable performance of Waters Alliance HPLC and LC-MS systems makes them a suitable choice for HPLC and LC-MS instruments. The 2695 separation unit is the foundation of the Alliance system (including solvent management and sample management), combined with other system components to form a complete system. With the development of software and hardware technology, the application areas of the entire system have been expanded, and we provide a variety of instrument options and accessories to match the growing application range.
Alliance series column temperature box (heating/cooling) and Alliance series column temperature box (heating)
Changes in room temperature can affect the reproducibility of HPLC results, whether it is between repeated runs of a single system, between different systems within a laboratory, or between different laboratories, all of which may lead to unstable results. Changes in column temperature can cause retention time drift, peak shape changes, and increase the difficulty of obtaining stable results. Waters offers two types of column temperature chambers (both controlled by microprocessors), heating/cooling type and heating type. The temperature range for heating/cooling type is 4 ℃ to 65 ℃, while the temperature control range for heating type is 5 ℃ to 65 ℃ above room temperature. Both types of column incubators can accommodate a 30 centimeter chromatography column (including an online protection column). Fix the chromatography column with a clamp that can be freely positioned on the slide rail. Improved connecting pipelines and leakage trays enhance their functionality and stability. Space is reserved at the bottom of the column temperature box for the switching valve.
Sample room temperature control module
This module is mainly used for thermally unstable samples to improve the stability of the sample solution by stabilizing the temperature. Using Peltier effect devices to reduce module size and provide constant temperature control, with a temperature control range of 4 ℃ to 40 ℃. This module can be directly integrated into the reserved position in 2695.
Switching valve options
Provide 3 different automatic switching valves (easy to install design, just connect 2 cables and tighten 2 screws). Each valve component includes piping and tools for you to connect to chromatography columns or other external devices. The switching valve can be programmed and controlled through the instrument panel, or through Empower? Or MassLynx? Implement software control. Two types of Alliance series switching valves can automatically switch up to 3 or 6 chromatography columns. Can be used for multi method sequence switching or automatic method development (for Waters AMDS system). Another type of 2-position switching valve can be used for offline regeneration of 2 chromatography columns with alternating switching (requiring some additional equipment), which can cleverly increase sample flux.
Binary Coded Decimal (BCD) Module
The BCD module can perform a foolproof sample information tracking by reading the BCD code on the sample bottle, providing sample information for non Waters chromatographic data systems. The BCD module includes a power supply, 2695 separation module connection cable, 25 pin cable interface, and clamp. The 25 pin interface is used for communication between the BCD module and the data system.
GPC functional components
The GPC functional module enables the 2695 separation unit to run normal temperature gel permeation chromatography (GPC)/volume exclusion chromatography (SEC), allowing the sample management system to absorb a large number of samples for injection, while being able to withstand strong organic solvents. Does the component include 2500? L sampler, 2000? L sample ring, 10mL, 2mL glass sample bottle (12x32100 pieces/package), integrated PTFE gasket sample bottle cap (100 pieces/package).
Integrated built-in 4-channel solvent vacuum degassing machine
The 4-way solvent deaerator component is used to remove air dissolved in the HPLC mobile phase. This component can be installed on the tray where the gradient proportional valve is located, and the installation process is easy. Degassing machine can improve the performance of solvent delivery system and enhance the reliability of the entire system. The fully automatic cleaning system of the active plunger rod sealing ring cleaning device can select the appropriate solvent according to the mobile phase to clean other solvents or crystallized salts on the sealing gasket on the high-pressure side of the pump piston chamber, while also lubricating the plunger rod and increasing the service life of the sealing ring under buffer liquid mobile phase conditions.
Post column derivative system
It consists of a post column derivative module, a temperature control module, and two derivative reagent pumps. The online derivatization reaction is completed using a two-stage column post derivatization reactor, which integrates an independent reaction tube and a countercurrent heat exchanger technology, which can minimize the effect of spectral band broadening outside the column and improve the sensitivity of the instrument.
