Overview
The American Trypanosoma IgG+IgM Antibody Detection Kit $r $n Indirect Immunoenzyme Assay is used to test antibodies against Trypanosoma cruzi in human serum/plasma. Selection of recombinant antigens or Trypanosoma cruzi excretory secretory antigen (TESA) antigens.
Product Details

Chagas disease is caused by the parasite Trypanosoma cruzi and transmitted to humans and animals through insects (vectors) located in the Americas. The main vector of transmission is the vampire bug, which is mainly prevalent in Central and South America, hence it is also known as Trypanosoma cruzi disease.

Chagas IgG+IgM Antibody Detection Kit

Indirect immune enzyme assay, used to test antibodies against Trypanosoma cruzi in human serum/plasma. Selection of recombinant antigens or Trypanosoma cruzi excretory secretory antigen (TESA) antigens.

No need for sample pre dilution

  • Suitable for automated ELISA systems

  • Qualitative and manual or automatic analysis.

The ELISA method is based on the reaction between antibodies in the test sample and antigens adsorbed on the surface of polystyrene. Unbound immunoglobulin is washed away. Enzyme labeled anti human globulin binds to antigen antibody complexes in the second step. After a new washing step, a binding conjugate was developed with the help of substrate solution (TMB) to produce a blue soluble product, which turned yellow upon addition of acid stopping solution.

  • High performance, using freeze-dried conjugates when necessary to ensure stability.

  • The samples and controls were treated equally to compensate for the variability of the pipettes.

  • Color coded board with separate decomposition holes.

  • Colored, ready to use liquid reagents.

Preventing Chagas disease can start with avoiding vector contact, paying attention to environmental hygiene, strengthening personal protection, enhancing immunity, and taking good travel precautions.

1. Avoid vector contact: Chagas disease is mainly transmitted through stink bugs, so it is important to avoid activities in areas where they are present, such as old houses, barns, etc. Use mosquito nets during nighttime sleep to prevent bites from stink bugs.

2. Pay attention to environmental hygiene: Regularly clean up debris and garbage around the house to reduce the habitat of stink bugs.

3. Strengthen personal protection: In environments where there may be stink bugs, wear long sleeved clothing and pants to minimize skin exposure.

4. Enhance autoimmunity: Maintain a healthy lifestyle, balanced diet, moderate exercise, sufficient sleep, and strengthen the body's resistance.

5. Take travel precautions: When traveling to popular areas, be aware of the local epidemic situation in advance and take corresponding preventive measures.
