Overview
The Brucella IgG/IgM detection kit (ELISA) $r $n ELISA method is based on the reaction between antibodies in the test sample and antigens adsorbed on the surface of polystyrene. Unbound immunoglobulin is washed away. Enzyme labeled anti human globulin binds to antigen antibody complexes in the second step. After the new washing step, a binding conjugate was developed using substrate solution (TMB) to produce a blue soluble product, which turned yellow upon addition of acid stopping solution.
Product Details

Brucellosis is a zoonotic disease caused by Brucella. Prevention and control should focus on three aspects: managing the source of infection, cutting off transmission routes, and protecting susceptible populations. The key measures include livestock quarantine, standardized breeding, personal protection, and epidemic monitoring. The following are specific prevention and control strategies:

1、 Infectious source management

1. Strict livestock quarantine and culling

  • Regularly conduct serological testing on susceptible animals such as cattle, sheep, and pigs in breeding and slaughterhouses. If positive individuals are found, they should be immediately slaughtered, and animals in the same group should be isolated and observed.

  • Newly introduced livestock must be isolated and quarantined for at least 30 days, and can only be raised in mixed herds after confirmation of no infection.

2. Immunization

  • Vaccination of healthy livestock with Brucella vaccines (such as S2, A19, and other attenuated live vaccines) in epidemic areas can reduce animal infection rates.

  • The use of vaccines should follow regulations to avoid personnel infection or environmental pollution caused by improper operation.

2、 Cut off the transmission route

1. Standardize the processing of dairy and meat products

  • Fresh milk should be pasteurized (heated at 70 ℃ for 30 minutes) or boiled before consumption, and avoid consuming undercooked meat and organs.

  • During the processing, prevent cross contamination between raw and cooked materials, and clean and disinfect tools, cutting boards, and other utensils.

2. Strengthen the hygiene of breeding environment

  • Regularly clean the livestock pens and disinfect the ground and feed troughs with lime water, chlorine containing disinfectants, etc.

  • Miscarriage of fetuses, placenta and other pollutants should be incinerated or deeply buried, and it is strictly prohibited to dispose of them at will.

3. Occupational exposure protection

  • Occupational groups such as veterinarians, herdsmen, and butchers are required to wear masks, gloves, and protective clothing, and wash their hands with soap promptly after work.

  • Skin wounds should be properly bandaged to avoid contact with animal blood and secretions.

Brucella IgG/IgM Detection Kit (ELISA)

  • If necessary, perform serum dilution and adsorbent treatment directly in the well

  • Suitable for automated ELISA systems
