It is mainly suitable for hazardous areas in Zone 1, Zone 2 of explosive gas environment or Zone 20, Zone 21, and Zone 22 of combustible dust environment, as well as explosive gas or vapor environments in Class IIA, IIB, and IIC T1-T4 groups or explosive dust environments in T1-T6 groups. It is used for lighting and power circuit switching at AC 50Hz and rated voltage up to 380V.

The purpose of type testing is to verify whether the design performance of the finalized distribution box meets the requirements of our enterprise standards. Type testing is a necessary test for the trial production of new products. Only when there are changes in product design, manufacturing process, use of raw materials, or component structure that may affect the explosion-proof performance of the distribution box, is it necessary to conduct type testing for the relevant project again. Normally produced products are tested every five years. Any type test sample shall be randomly selected from the products that have passed the factory inspection for testing. Only when both samples pass the test can the type test be considered qualified. Otherwise, it is necessary to analyze the reasons, take technical measures, or even improve the design, process, etc. before conducting the test again until the type test is qualified.

Installation, use, and maintenance:
6.1 Installation
6.1.1 Installation work must be carried out by professionals.
6.1.2 Before installation, the basic data listed on the nameplate of the distribution box should be checked to ensure that it meets the actual usage conditions.
6.1.3 Check whether the compression sealing ring and gasket inside the introduction device of the distribution box are complete and intact.
6.1.4 Connect the distribution box to the grounding system of the site, and the grounding should be firm and reliable.
6.1.5 All fasteners must have anti loosening measures and will not loosen on their own.
6.1.6 When users connect wires, they only need to open the junction box, and the main chamber cover does not need to be opened.
6.2 Usage:
6.2.1 During use, it is strictly prohibited to open the lid with electricity.
6.3 Maintenance:
6.3.1 After installation or maintenance, attention should be paid to keeping the sealing ring at the inlet of the device tightly pressed to avoid affecting the explosion-proof performance of the product or causing water ingress inside the product and resulting in malfunction.
6.3.2 Regularly inspect the sealing ring of the introduction device, and replace it immediately if aging is found on the sealing ring.
