1ZGF-II milliampere meter for AC/DC test transformersOverview
The multi-purpose impact resistant digital microampere meter developed by our factory is mainly used to measure the leakage current or conductivity current value of the test object in high-voltage electrical tests.
Multi purpose impact resistant digital microampere meter is a product of the successful combination of high voltage technology and high-tech digital instruments.
Due to the use of internal and external shielding measures, the instrument can still measure accurately and stably under high voltages of several hundred kilovolts.
The instrument is designed with multi-level protection circuits against overvoltage and overcurrent surges, and uses components with special functions. When the test sample breaks down, the high-voltage lead falls off, or there is an operational error, it can cause a surge of high voltage and a surge current of several hundred microseconds or nearly ten thousand amperes to flow through the meter at both input terminals, causing discharge without damaging the integrity of the meter.

This instrument has the advantages of high precision, wide range, small size, light weight, low power consumption, shock resistance, reasonable design, exquisite production, and can read clearly from several meters away. Not only can it be used for measuring leakage current of transformers, power cables, high-voltage switches, etc. under high voltage, but it can also replace the 0.5 level magneto electric DC microampere meter for measuring the conductivity current of various types of lightning arresters at different voltage levels. After several years of on-site testing, it has been proven that the technical indicators are excellent and meet the needs of special on-site testing.

  3、 Structural characteristics
The instrument housing is made of finely processed aluminum alloy profiles and plates with surface oxidation treatment, with good smoothness and exquisite appearance. There are two ф 4mm sockets on the upper cover of the instrument, which are the positive and negative input terminals. The positive stage is insulated from the housing, and the negative electrode is connected to the housing. The small screws on both sides of the socket are used to tighten the internal components and provide electrical connectivity. Users should not turn them to avoid damaging the instrument.

There are four screw caps on the front of the instrument, which are used to install and fix the organic glass protective plate and digital meter head. Users are not allowed to turn these four screws to prevent damage to the instrument.

  4、 Usage and principles:
The instrument can be placed above a high voltage of several hundred kilovolts to the ground for measurement. At this time, the negative electrode or shell should be connected to the high voltage power supply, and the test lead wire needs to be shielded. One end of the core wire is welded with a ф 4mm banana plug inserted into the positive socket, and the other end of the shielded core wire is connected to the ground insulation part of the test sample.
The instrument can also be placed at ground potential measurement, with the negative pole, i.e. the shell, connected to the ground and the positive pole connected to the non pressurized end of the test object that is insulated from the ground. At this time, the instrument displays a negative value.
Once the instrument is connected and checked for accuracy, the power switch can be turned on (set to ON), the range switch can be placed in the appropriate position, and the staff can leave the high-voltage section to conduct the boost test. After the test is completed and fully discharged, the wiring can be changed for another test or the instrument power can be turned off to end the test work.
In some cases, if the voltage fluctuation of the test power supply is large, coupled with the small capacitance of the filtering capacitor on the high-voltage test power supply side and the large capacitance of the test object, the current flowing through the instrument will be unstable. The instrument display fluctuates greatly, please read its average value as the measurement result and make a good record.
The test voltage is stable and there is no discharge phenomenon in the test sample. The values measured and displayed by the instrument are very stable and accurate.

After the test is completed, please discharge with an electric rod to avoid impact discharge.
