Working Principle:
Coil electrification
24 V DC passes through a bipolar transient suppression diode (TVS) and reaches the coil, with a current of approximately 0.75 A and a steady-state power consumption of 18 W.
Establishment of magnetic field
The coil is wound around a soft magnetic alloy core, generating a saturation magnetic flux of 1.6 T level; The armature is attracted with a holding force of 30 daN (≈ 300 N).
Seismic preloading
At this time, the disc spring in the shock protection device is slightly compressed by the armature, storing 0.3 mm of elastic pre stroke to prepare for subsequent buffering.
2、 Abnormal impact stage
When there is an external axial or radial impact of ≥ 30 g (such as emergency braking of the train):
The armature exhibits an instantaneous detachment trend, and the displacement sensor (Hall chip) detects a displacement of 0.05 mm within 50 µ s;
The Hall signal triggers the MOSFET high-speed switch, and the coil current is pulled to 1.5 times the rated value within 2 ms, instantly enhancing the magnetic field and preventing the armature from rebounding;
At the same time, the disc spring converts the impact kinetic energy into elastic potential energy, avoiding mechanical impact on the end face of the iron core.
3、 Protection action phase
If the impact persists or the power supply unexpectedly loses power:
Power off maintenance
The coil current drops to 0 A, but the residual magnetic flux of the neodymium iron boron permanent magnet ring embedded in the iron core can still maintain a holding force of 10 daN, ensuring that critical loads do not detach.
No spark release
The damping grease in the shock absorber generates a viscous resistance of 1.5 N · m during the return process of the armature, achieving a "soft landing" and preventing mechanical impact sparks, meeting ATEX 2GD explosion-proof requirements.
4、 Recovery readiness phase
After the impact is completed, the disc spring automatically resets, and the displacement sensor confirms that the armature returns to the 0.00 mm reference point;
The system is powered on again, the MOSFET resumes PWM constant current drive, and operates stably at 18W;
The entire shock protection reset cycle is less than 50 ms, which does not affect the device's rhythm and achieves continuous operation with "zero maintenance".
