Its working principle mainly uses metal for detection, and when the switch approaches a metal object, it emits an induction signal. When the metal target approaches this magnetic field without changing and reaches the induction distance, eddy currents are generated inside the metal target, causing oscillation attenuation and even stopping. The changes in oscillator oscillation and stop oscillation are processed by the post amplification circuit and converted into switch signals, triggering the driving control device to achieve non-contact detection.

The high-temperature resistant proximity switch uses aviation heat-resistant insulation materials to ensure that the thermal conductivity is within a controllable range. Attention should be paid to the following issues when wiring and connecting proximity sensors:

3) Do not use the output lines of two proximity switches to control the same coil of the same relay, otherwise it will be difficult to identify the source of the action and sometimes even cause misoperation.

Precautions during the installation of proximity switches:

1) The tested object should not come into contact with the proximity switch to avoid damaging it due to friction and collision;

2) Pulling the proximity switch lead by hand can damage the proximity switch. During installation, fix the lead firmly with a wire clip at a distance of 10 centimeters from the proximity switch;

3) Do not use foot operated proximity switches, set up protective covers during installation;

4) The use distance of the switch should be set within 80% of the rated distance to avoid being affected by temperature and voltage, both of which will affect the sensitivity of the proximity switch.

5) When installing proximity switches on metal, a certain amount of space should be reserved to avoid the switch from being disturbed by other metals outside the detected object and causing misoperation. The metal parallel to the sensing surface should be at a detection distance of three times the distance from the sensing surface; The metal around the direction of the proximity switch axis should be outside a cylinder with the proximity switch axis as the center and three times the diameter of the proximity switch as the diameter.

6) When installing two or more proximity switches simultaneously, in order to prevent mutual interference between any two, the distance between the two sensing surfaces in the axial direction should be greater than five times the detection distance when the switches are facing each other; When installed in parallel, the distance between the outer cylindrical surfaces should be greater than three times the length of the proximity switch diameter. If the switch diameters are unequal, they should be calculated based on the diameter of the larger proximity switch.

Selection of detection target substances for different types of proximity switches

The detection object material of passive proximity switches can be magnetic or iron materials. The detection object material of eddy current proximity switches must be conductive materials. The detection object material of capacitive proximity switches can be conductive materials, powdery substances, or liquid media. The detection object material of Hall proximity switches must be magnetic materials. The detection object requirement of photoelectric proximity switches is that the movable parts need to have reflective surfaces to generate reflected light in order to drive the photoelectric proximity switch action.

Proximity switch two-wire system

The two-wire wiring of proximity switches is particularly simple. Connect the proximity switch and load in series, then connect the power supply. Use a matching detection object substance to approach the proximity switch, and the proximity switch will act.
